Springtime Stitches

April 03, 2014

For spring we fell in love with this textured , softly twisted yarn. A perfect blend of linen and cotton with a touch of viscose for drape,  it's super flattering on the body and comfortable. The natural fibers allow you to breathe during the hot summer months that's sure to come, and we've knitted it loosely so that it's a great piece by itself or layered. Particularly lovely in this easy "poncho" pullover.

In Blue, Grey, or Oatmeal, twisted with specks of ivory for a lighter effect

Moving on Up

February 05, 2014

As you may have seen on Facebook, heard from a friend, or noticed on our signage right here at the shop, we are moving to a great new location over on Bergan Street. Well, after much planning and anticipation, the day has almost come! We'll be closing our doors tomorrow afternoon and packing up 152 5th Avenue. We'll be fully closed at both loctions on Friday and we hope to be open in some capacity by the weekend. In the meantime, our webstore is fully operational and we'll be doing our best to be in touch via email. If you have any concerns or questions during this time, you can contact us at staff@achengshop.com; we may not be able to get back to you immediatley but we will definitely be able to respond within a day or so.

Until tomorrow, we will still be offering a sweet sale of an additional 20% off of nearly everything in the store. Come visit with any questions, to shop the sale, and to say goodbye to what's been our home for 8 years. We are very excited about the new location and are looking forward to lots of fun projects, stunning designs, and new friends and neighbors.
